Unless you’ve never seen pinterest before in your life, you’ve probably seen your fair share of cool looking pallet projects. There are some that seem to crop up over and over again. I thought I would come up with a list with cool and unique pallet ideas.

You can almost always get them for free and you are reusing wood so they are green and inexpensive. Hence their popularity. Plus the rustic style of the final products made with pallets is usually pretty awesome.

I happen to have two pallets sitting in the back of my car. So I have some ideas in mind… but this post is a great way to inspire more ideas!

So here you go… these 10 pallet projects are unique and awesome:

1. Garage storage

Who doesn’t love free organization tools? Unexpected Elegance made this awesome garage organizer for free using pallets. It has a slim profile so it doesn’t take much space. And it looks pretty great. Good looking, efficient, and free? Sign me up!

2. Pallet Fence

Why pay a lot of money for a good looking fence? Make one using pallets! Home Talk will show you how. Plus, how cute is that dog?

3. Pallet Swing Bed

Hammocks are so yesterday’s news. Make yourself a pallet swing bed! The Merrythought will show you how. Don’t you want to go lay in this bed and read all day? I sure do.

4. DIY Photo Frames

Wall decor can get expensive. All those frames, even on sale, add up. Well, when you make your own photo frames with pallets, you have a fun project and you can save money! Southern Revivals will show you how it’s done, plus how to transfer photos onto the pallet wood using mod podge. Awesome.

5. Pallet Garden

I love the creative gardening ideas I find on pinterest! This idea by Bright Nest is no exception. Make yourself an awesome upright garden using a pallet.

6. Green Christmas Tree

Apartment Therapy shows a great example of using pallet wood to make a green christmas tree. We tried to use a potted plant this year and it was dead by March. So next year… maybe we will do this!

7. Pallet Pot Rack

It’s always hard to find space to store pots and pans in the kitchen. A pot rack is a great solution. Faith, Love, & Babies shows how to make this adorable pot rack using pallets! A great green and inexpensive solution.

8. Pallet Dog Bed

Woof! That’s what Dozer had to say about his adorable pallet bed. A Brit of Happiness will take you through the steps to make this awesome bed for your dog.

9. Pallet Baby Gate

Everyone needs baby gates at some point in their lives right? But most of them are so ugly. And if you have a weird sized doorway or staircase, it’s a problem. Little Lucy Lu found the solution by making her own pallet baby gate! What a genius idea.

10. Portable Pallet Bike Rack

The Haas Machine made this awesome bike rack that folds up and can be moved around. Pretty sweet right? Since bike racks aren’t usually necessary in the winter, it’s a great way to make use of an old pallet without putting in a permanent bike rack that takes up space!
