In reply to don Roberto. Thanks for the idea Don! I was trying to find a quick solution when I made these, and in my more updated version I used wood shims to cover the screws. If the fabric does compress, I will have to try your bottle cap idea.

Because the fabric will compress, and probably eventually allow those screws to snag on what’s in the drawer (and until then will take up valuable space), you might do better to screw corks on the screws, or glue bottle caps over them.
