I need to pass this on to some family members so they might have an idea of what an average day is for me as well! If you met me at the grocery store you would never know this is my life! You have helped educate many people today, and hopefully they will show more kindness and understanding for everyone they meet! May your spoons be ever plentiful!!!

I know the feeling. I have MS, Fibro, Colitis and ad nauseum. I’m shocked and jealous that you start with 15 spoons and I start with 5!

I have POTS and Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and this sounds very similar to my days (unless I have a flare up and then i’m bed bound for days – my spoons go AWOL!!). Whilst you do have your set of challenges I do agree that it allows you to see the world from a different perspective and appreciate the smaller things in life.

I also suffer from a chronic illness although people wouldn’t know it by looking at me. I also have to pace my days and time with people and I love the spoon theory. Thank you for sharing and being transparent.

And you, dear Susie, are beautiful inside and out.

So glad you shared because of how many you might have touched with education and “spoon” theory. You go girl! I appreciate your efforts.

I love you and am with you always in spirit and forever close at heart. xoxo Auntie Jackie
